Here are some photos from the Year 4 art gallery at the end of the project.
During this topic we experimented with a range of painting techniques such as pointalism, acrylic textured paints, collage and watercolour. We were amazed at how quickly our painting techniques improved.

I loved doing splash it was very fun! I am kind of sad to not do it any more and Haven says that they are fantastic.

I loved Splash and it was great doing it.I enjoyed the difernt techniques.My favourite was Acrylic and Water.Pointalism was hard.

Well done to everyone in Year 4 for your effort in the splash topic. You took on board the advice for each technique and you became very good at self assessing your work and deciding how you could improve your technique. I am very impressed with the paintings that you produced. Well done!
I think the ‘Splash’ was an inspiration and I think we all enjoyed looking at different artist’s work related to water. I especially liked the photographer who managed to capture the droplets of water in such detail. Do you remember those photos?

I loved looking at the pictures.I love all the paintings.We had lot’s of fun painting and learning the new techniqes.The last we made a big peice together in a group.Do you remember that?
