I was hoping you could think of some descriptive words and phrases and examples of personification, similes, and metaphors to add to the different images.

There are four different images that you can comment on. To move between the different pictures just click on the picture you want to view on the bottom right hand corner. Press play to read or hear the comments that have already been made.

You just need to click on ‘add comment’ below and then you can choose whether to record a comment or type a comment. Enjoy!

I have added a couple of comments to the pictures already. Please help me by adding your comments too!

For the snow man – jolly, festive, happy, warm
For the traffic – black snow, slush, noise, pollution
For the trees (love your words BTW!) – majetic, silent, satin,
For the fence – waiting, protecting, on guard

I think that this FANTASTIC website is really clever aswell Shawon!!! πŸ™‚
For the snow you could do: The soft, white snow was like a delicute, colourfull feather flowing from the blue sky or the plain white snow was like an enourmous, gigantic AVALANCHE tumbling down on the hard, rocky surface (ground) Do you agree? Is this a simile, personification or a metaphor? What do you think???!!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Mya- you do need to register for an account if you want to comment at home. You just need to provide your name and an email address. At school I can log in on my account and add your identity to my account if you are having trouble. Miss Martindale.

Thank you for adding such wonderful similes. I love to see you learning at home like this. Learning certainly does not stop in the classroom at Bearwood!
