Splash Science by Jai and Ismaeel

Science, 1st March Tuesday Y4:

Yesterday in science we started to learn a bit more on solids, liquids, gases.
Y4 learnt that solids don’t move and they keep their own shape, liquids spread out a bit and gases spread out every where.
Evaporation: Evaporation means when a liquid turns into a gas.
Condensation: Condensation means when a gas turns into a liquid.
For a liquid to turn into a gas it needs lots of energy (It needs heat)
We also did experiments about evaporation. We had to decide on a question then think about how to make it a fair test. If you changed the type of liquid then you needed to keep the amount and place the same. We set up our experiments and will keep a record over the next week.
